MDL® Report Manager 

MDL Report Manager is a powerful new tool for analyzing and displaying research results in detailed reports. Working with MDL Assay Explorer, scientists can use Report Manager to quickly share screening results and findings with colleagues at any point during the biology workflow.

MDL Report Manager's customizable templates and pop-up menus make it easy to pose complex queries, including substructure queries, based on the results of single or multiple experiments within Assay Explorer.

Reports can also be generated using structures and data stored in other databases. For example, scientists can create reports using chemical structures from MDL ISIS (MDL's Integrated Scientific Information System) and data from other databases stored in Oracle, such as MDL Plate Manager (formerly Apex), MDL's integrated plate management system.

Query results can be displayed in a range of file formats, including PDF, HTML, XML, TXT, RTF, Word, and Excel. Visual displays can be added through a number of graphing options, including 3D scatter plots, histograms, plate mapping, and pie charts.

Report Manager enables scientists to:

  • Report on single or multiple experiments captured in Assay Explorer
  • Use flexible query tools for reporting
  • Integrate with ISIS databases
  • Generate graphics dynamically
  • Use reporting wizards, templates, and formats
  • Report from multiple databases
  • Connect to ODBC and ADO databases
